Djerba-Zarzis International Airport

Djerba-Zarzis International Airport serves Houmt Souk, Djerba island and generally throughout south-eastern Tunisia. Like the vast majority of Tunisian airports, it is managed by the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports.
Located nine kilometers west of Houmt Souk, near the town of Mellita, it is put into operation in 1970 to enhance the tourism appeal of Djerba. 

Covering an area of ​​295 hectares and a capacity of 4 million passengers per year, its activity is mainly related to the delivery of tourists visiting Djerba and its region. The terminal building covers 73,000 square meters and is complemented by a new terminal building, covering an area of ​​57,000 sqm on three levels, which opened December 22, 2007
